Meet captain Troy

Born and raised in Southwest Harbor, Troy started fishing at 9 or 10 and fell in love with working for himself and being on the water. He started hauling traps by hand in a small skiff and later was a stern man for another local old timer until he graduated high school, attended boat school and bought his first big boat. A 42 Bruno Stillman that he scalloped with. He later switched over to lobstering and had his first boat built in 1995, named Emily’s Way after our daughter born shortly after launching the boat. Fast forward three more boats later and the F/V Heather & Emily proudly provide Archie’s with all the lobster we need.

If you come to Archie’s you are likely to meet Troy steaming lobsters on many an afternoon!
